Ferrari value nears jaw-dropping $20 billion as crucial report released

Ferrari's brand value has surged past $17.7 billion, marking a jump of more than 14 percent compared to last year, according to Interbrand's newly released Best Global Brands 2026 report. The surge has lifted the Italian marque three spots up the closely watched annual ranking to 51st overall, earning it a place among this year's standout "Top Risers."

The study, widely regarded as the longest-running and most authoritative brand valuation analysis in the world, also reaffirms Ferrari's status as Italy's single most valuable global brand. Beyond the headline figure, Ferrari's underlying metrics remain strong: its brand strength score sits at 85, while its "role of brand" rating — which measures how much influence the Ferrari name has over consumer purchasing decisions — stands at 73 percent.

Ferrari has framed the results as validation of its long-term strategy built around what it calls its three "souls": racing, sports cars and lifestyle. Presenting Interbrand's conclusions, the company said the figures and the sustained growth trend over recent years confirm that this approach is working, and that it shows Ferrari's capacity to push credibly into new ventures beyond its traditional territory — spanning select luxury and lifestyle offerings as well as fresh racing projects, including its foray into offshore sailing.

The timing of the report lands as Ferrari's Formula 1 team enters the closing phase of a demanding 2026 season, fielding Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc as it heads into this weekend's Mexico City Grand Prix in search of a much-needed strong result. The race arrives amid a dramatic title picture elsewhere on the grid, with Red Bull contending with a fresh bout of gearbox troubles and Kimi Antonelli sitting on the brink of clinching the world championship within the next few races.

For Ferrari, the Interbrand findings represent a rare piece of unambiguously positive news away from the track, underscoring how the brand's commercial and cultural reach continues to expand even as its on-track fortunes in Formula 1 remain a work in progress. With the season set to be dissected further on RacingNews365's post-race coverage of the United States Grand Prix and previews of the Mexico City weekend, the contrast between Ferrari's booming brand equity and its competitive targets on the circuit is likely to remain a talking point as the 2026 campaign nears its conclusion.
