Ferrari Daytona SP3 Surfaces With Striking Rosso Corsa and Giallo Modena Specification

A rare, heavily optioned example of Ferrari's Daytona SP3 has emerged for sale, showcasing one of the most exclusive modern expressions of the marque's naturally aspirated V12 tradition. Limited to a production run of just 599 units, the mid-engined supercar pairs a high-revving twelve-cylinder engine with styling drawn directly from Ferrari's sports-racing prototypes of the 1960s.

This particular car wears a factory livery combining Rosso Corsa paintwork with Blu Tour de France and Giallo Modena accents. It comes loaded with an extensive list of factory options and is said to present in condition indistinguishable from new, complete with its original documentation, accessories, a dedicated history file, and Ferrari's limited-series "Yellow Book." Details such as the car's model year, chassis number, mileage, asking price, and location were not disclosed.

The Daytona SP3's design pays tribute to Ferrari's 1-2-3 finish at the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona, a result that shaped the car's entire visual identity. Rather than recreating a specific historic model, Ferrari built a modern interpretation of its endurance racers, incorporating a wraparound windscreen, prominent front wings, sculpted rear haunches, and horizontal rear strakes. A removable targa-style roof further echoes the open-cockpit prototypes of that era, while a carbon-fiber monocoque underpins the structure.

Striking modern supercar evokes classic 1960s racing design.

Mechanically, the SP3 is powered by a mid-rear-mounted 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 producing 840 cv at 9,250 rpm, with a redline reaching 9,500 rpm—making it one of Ferrari's most intense road-going engines. Power routes through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, propelling the car from 0 to 62 mph in 2.85 seconds and to 124 mph in 7.4 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 211 mph.

This example's exterior features a carbon-fiber hardtop, lower bodywork, and mirrors, along with airbrushed Scuderia Ferrari shields. It rides on forged wheels—20 inches up front, 21 inches at the rear—finished with contrasting Giallo Modena brake calipers, and includes a front and rear suspension lift system. Lighting technology includes full LED headlights with self-leveling capability, Ferrari's Advanced Front Lighting System, LED running lights and indicators, plus front and rear parking cameras and a digital rearview mirror.

Inside, Rosso Ferrari leather is paired with Giallo detailing throughout, including carbon-fiber racing seats with Giallo piping, yellow seatbelts, and Giallo-embroidered Cavallino emblems on the headrests. The Rosso Ferrari steering wheel integrates carbon-fiber construction and LED shift lights, alongside Ferrari's Race Manettino, keyless entry and start, and an anti-theft system—rounding out a cohesive, color-matched specification throughout the cabin.
