Italian Police's Lamborghini Huracán Hits 377,034 KM, Becomes World's Highest-Mileage Huracán

An Italian State Police Lamborghini Huracán Polizia has quietly racked up what is believed to be the highest mileage of any Huracán in existence, clocking 377,034 km (234,278 miles) after seven years of emergency service. The supercar was spotted by Mobil 1 away from the spotlight of Rally Italia Sardegna, held October 1–4, where its staggering odometer reading drew plenty of attention.

Painted in Italy's signature blue-and-white Polizia livery, the Huracán was handed over to the State Police by Lamborghini in 2017 as part of the two parties' long-standing partnership. Since then, it has been used for high-priority missions, often involving urgent medical transport. Unlike a standard Huracán, this version comes fitted with life-saving equipment, including a defibrillator and a portable fridge built into the front compartment.

That specialized setup has proven invaluable on real missions. The car has been used to rush a kidney for transplant from Padua to Rome, a journey of more than 480 km completed in roughly two hours. It joined an earlier Huracán gifted to the police in 2014, and together the pair have also helped deliver kidneys to hospitals in Modena and Rome, underscoring how the supercar's speed has directly supported emergency medical efforts.

Under the hood, the Huracán Polizia runs a naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 producing 640 horsepower, enough to sprint from 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) in 3.2 seconds and hit a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph). Those numbers make it especially suited to fast highway dashes when every minute counts.

Despite nearly a decade of demanding duty, the vehicle reportedly still runs on its original engine and gearbox, a detail Mobil 1 highlighted as proof of the car's durability and the quality of its upkeep. "Every mile matters, especially when it comes to saving lives," Mobil 1 said in its report. The company noted it could not confirm exactly which oil has been used in this particular car, but recommended products like its Mobil 1 ESP 0W-40, formulated for Lamborghinis, as offering the performance and reliability such a vehicle demands.

With 377,034 km on the clock, the Huracán Polizia stands as a rare case of a supercar logging an everyday workhorse's mileage while still serving a genuinely life-saving purpose on Italy's roads.
