The 2026 Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Deutschland season will reach its climax from 9 to 11 October, when the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg hosts the eighth and final round of the championship, held alongside the DTM. Two races remain, and four drivers still have a shot at the overall title.
Championship leader Keagan Masters of South Africa (Proton Competition) arrives with 210 points and the strongest hand: a win in both races aboard his Porsche 911 Cup would secure the crown outright. Dutch Porsche Junior Flynt Schuring (Schumacher CLRT) sits seven points back and is the only driver with five race wins this season, meaning two more victories at Hockenheim would put the title beyond his rivals' reach. German driver Alexander Tauscher (Target) has been the model of consistency, finishing in the top five in 11 of 14 races, and trails Masters by 24 points. Theo Oeverhaus (ID Racing), 21, opened the year with back-to-back wins and is fourth, 27 points adrift, needing a standout weekend to close the gap. A maximum of 50 points is still available.

Other titles are equally tight. Chester Kieffer of Luxembourg (Schumacher CLRT, 248 points) and Dutchman Sam Jongejan (Team75 Bernhard, 237) are battling for the Rookie crown, while Michael Essmann of Germany (Team75 Bernhard, 288 points) leads Sören Spreng (GP Elite, 277) in the ProAm class. In the team standings, Proton Competition (347 points) holds the edge over Schumacher CLRT (306). The weekend will also decide the "Fastest Lap Award," with the season's quickest driver earning a Porsche Design Chronograph 1 — All Black Numbered Edition.
Hockenheim's 4.574-kilometre layout, with its 17 corners and heavy braking zones, offers one of its best passing chances at the hairpin following the long Parabolika straight. Practice and qualifying begin Friday, with Race 15 starting at 10:50 on Saturday and Race 16 at 12:30 on Sunday. Fans can follow both races live via the Porsche Motorsport Hub, the series' Facebook and YouTube channels, and free streaming on ProSieben's Joyn platform.

Ahead of the finale, Porsche confirmed the 2027 calendar, opening 9–11 April in Imola as part of the FIA World Endurance Championship. The season continues with DTM rounds at the Red Bull Ring, Norisring, Circuit Zandvoort and the Nürburgring, before Monza joins via the International GT Open, marking Porsche's return there after six years. Two further DTM weekends at the Sachsenring and Hockenheim close out the year, each featuring two 30-minute-plus-one-lap sprint races. Project Manager Thorsten Röckert said the mix across four countries, including two current Formula 1 venues, promises an exciting season ahead.
