Lamborghini has revived one of its most storied badges with the Revuelto SV, a track-honed version of its flagship V12 hybrid supercar. Unveiled in August, the Super Veloce edition is limited to just 1,963 units worldwide, a nod to the year Automobili Lamborghini was founded in Sant'Agata Bolognese. Yet more than a month after its debut, customers are still waiting to get their hands on one.

The Revuelto SV blends motorsport-inspired chassis work, an 80% jump in downforce, and a reworked hybrid system producing 1,065 PS and 1,425 Nm of combined torque, making it the most powerful and quickest road-legal car Lamborghini has ever built.

At the heart of the car sits the same 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12, still capable of spinning to 9,250 rpm and producing 825 PS on its own. The extra performance comes from an enlarged 7.3 kWh battery, nearly double the standard coupe's 3.8 kWh unit, feeding three axial-flux electric motors with greater sustained power. The result is a 0-100 km/h time of 2.4 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 6.7 seconds, and a top speed beyond 345 km/h. The SV has already set a production-car lap record of 1:41.6 at the Hockenheimring. A new Pilota drive mode joins Strada, Sport and Corsa, controlled via a dedicated wheel-mounted dial that offers five stages of motorsport-grade traction control.

Underneath, Lamborghini swapped adaptive electronic suspension for manually adjustable passive dampers borrowed from its Squadra Corse GT3 race cars, letting drivers fine-tune compression and rebound for different track surfaces. A six-dimensional sensor feeds data into the car's stability systems, trimming braking distances by up to 10%, while Brembo's CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic brakes—420mm front, 410mm rear—boost heat dissipation by 23%. The car rides on staggered 20-inch and 21-inch wheels fitted with bespoke semi-slick Bridgestone Potenza Race R tyres.

Aerodynamically, the SV's fixed rear wing and reshaped front splitter combine to deliver 80% more downforce and a 60% gain in downforce-to-drag efficiency versus the standard Revuelto, even outperforming the Aventador SVJ by 10% in total downforce.

Despite the reveal, the Revuelto SV isn't officially for sale yet, as it still needs to clear fuel consumption, emissions and safety homologation. Lamborghini's production lines also remain tied up fulfilling backlogged orders for the standard Revuelto coupe, which stretch into late 2026. Following brand tradition, early SV allocations will go to top-tier collectors and VIP clients before wider order books open. Deliveries of all 1,963 units are expected to begin in early 2027, once international approvals are finalized.
