West Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Unit has launched an appeal for witnesses as it works to establish exactly what happened in the moments before the collision. A force spokesperson said officers were keen to hear from anyone who saw the crash itself or who witnessed either vehicle in the area beforehand.
The spokesperson said: "Our Roads Policing Unit is appealing for witnesses following a serious injury collision in Bradford. It happened at about 5.20pm on Thursday, 1 October in School Street in the Holme Wood area of the city and involved a black Audi S3 and an unregistered electric motorcycle."
They added: "The motorcycle rider, a 15-year-old boy, was taken to hospital where he was found to have suffered a serious head injury. His condition is described as critical."
Police have urged anyone who saw the collision happen, or who noticed either vehicle moving through the area in the lead-up to the crash, to get in touch. Officers are also appealing for any dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage that could help piece together the circumstances of the incident.

Anyone with information or footage that could assist the investigation is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Unit by calling 101, or by using the force's online live chat service. Witnesses should quote the reference number 1259, dated October 1, when making contact.
No further details have been released about the condition of the driver of the Audi, and enquiries into the crash remain ongoing. The force has not confirmed whether any arrests have been made in connection with the collision.
